Since then flying became a passion for me. Paragliding means freedom to me and is closer to Ikarus´dream than any other kind of sports.

Before, I pushed wild water kayaking to the limit and decided to practise a more convenient sport. To stay with it, I ride my mountainbike, always searching for trails as far as possible off the beaten path. My friends fear the´´ box tours´´, which means the bike is more often on the shoulders than where it really belongs. My mountain environment supplies me yearround with any kind of up -and downhill activities: in wintertime I spend my days in the powder cross country skiing and my nights on the slope with my racing sled. But the most breathtaking and wearing of all my activities is playing with my two children.

Competing in the Red Bull X-Alps is a challenge and an unforgettable experience for my lifetime .This race makes two contrary experiences possible:To reach the highest peaks and deepest valleys for body and psyche in pure loneliness- and to enjoy real friendship,good partnership and great team spirit.
